Ruchi Gujjar Throws Slipper, Files ₹24‑Lakh Fraud FIR Over Film Deal

Former Miss Haryana turned model‑actor Ruchi Gujjar took center stage today—not on the red carpet, but in a heated confrontation at the So Long Valley premiere in Mumbai. The incident sparked social media frenzy and legal drama as Gujjar filed a First Information Report (FIR) accusing producer Karan Singh Chauhan and director Man Singh of defrauding her of ₹23–24 lakh. The FIR was registered at Oshiwara Police Station on July 24, 2025 under sections including criminal breach of trust, cheating, and intimidation.
At the Cinepolis screening of So Long Valley, a viral video captured Gujjar visibly agitated. She reportedly hurled her sandal at producer-director Man Singh during an escalating altercation with Chauhan—though no one appeared physically hurt. Another outlet reports she slapped the producer more than once, capturing the attention of onlookers and cameras alike.
Between July 2023 and January 2024, Gujjar claims she made multiple payments—totaling ₹23–24 lakh—from her firm SR Event and Entertainment to Chauhan’s company, K Studios, after being offered a co-producer credit on a Sony TV serial. She states that the promised serial was never made. Instead, she alleges the funds were diverted to produce So Long Valley, a crime-thriller slated to release on July 27, 2025. When she requested her refund in the week leading up to the release, she claims Chauhan threatened her instead.
Her FIR also names actors Akanksha Puri, Tridha Choudhary, and Vikram Kochar, who promoted the film despite being aware of her investor status and the unresolved legal dispute.
